Sandwell SCB is responsible for identifying safeguarding multi-agency training needs and planning and commissioning the training, a Training Sub Group has been created to oversee this work. The Training Sub Group is responsible for devising Training Schedules.

Application Process
- Please choose courses appropriate to your development needs and target group. This should be in conjunction with your line manager where appropriate, who should authorise your application
- Complete an Application Form (see below) - ONE form per PERSON per COURSE.
- Please send completed application forms one month prior to the training event by email to safeguarding_learning@sandwell.gov.uk
Alternatively if you do not have an email address please fax to 0121 543 3695 or post to the Safeguarding Team, METSEC House, Broadwell Road, Oldbury, B69 4HE.
- You will receive written confirmation of being allocated a place on the chosen course.
